I'm 86 and for breakfast I have seeds, walnuts almonds, blue berries and natural yogurt Greek type.

It was so wonderful to see him walking, even after surpassing 100. Walking is one of my favorite things to do, as it keeps me busy, and it allows me to get around on my own time. I also love seeing sights and taking in the world in person, feet on the ground. What an amazing man, still working and dedicated, even at 102. Bravo, Dr. Tucker! :)

here is a point to understand and take in, not everyone works in a office or easy physical job. those of us who's body takes a toll over the years have a different view. Just because you retire doesn't mean you just stop but start over and do things that work for you and you like. Saying we should all work till we die is too much. There is more to life than working. keep moving and learning yes. But understand there is more and different views of how to live ones life as you get older.

Not all of us are in a line of work that we can continue into extreme old age. In fact for many of us it is a slog to get to retirement - good attitude or not.

As for the diet, if Dr Tucker can get through a full working day on a bowl of berries and milk and no lunch, well good for him. As for me I need a bit more substance to my diet to feed my working body.

All-in-all if this is what it takes to live to over 100 I’m probably not going to make it.

Agree with everything said. For most people who work out of an office cannot eat lunch like this. I had peanut butter and jelly for decades amongst other things.

My Dad is 86 this year and he smokes tobacco and drinks alcohol, has done since he was a teenager. Another member of my extended family had similar habits to my Dad and lived to 95, not that I'm advocating these lifestyle choices. Me, I don't smoke and rarely ever drink alcohol
