Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing the planet. It will need every solution possible, including technology like artificial intelligence (AI). During this virtual event, learn from cutting edge startups in this field using @amazonwebservices to enable solutions that optimize structure energy consumption, build sustainable industrialization, and analyze climate risk.

Today’s leading companies in this field aren’t just adjusting, but redefining how they do business, becoming more agile, scalable, and innovative. And those startups building on AWS? They’re benefiting from the fastest pace of innovation, the broadest and deepest functionality, the most secure computing environment, and performance to build what’s needed for today and tomorrow.

About AWS Startups:

From Airbnb and Lyft to Slack and Twilio, the world’s top startups build on AWS. And it’s been that way since 2006, when AWS first brought cloud infrastructure to the world. The startup ecosystem around the globe and AWS have grown up together. AWS knows startups inside and out, because we have worked alongside literally hundreds of thousands of founders all over the world, helping them to build and scale their businesses. That singular experience has given AWS unparalleled insight into the unique needs that startups have, and the opportunities that startups chase every day. AWS is the technological muscle that the world’s leading startups have always relied on.

So whether it’s solving a technical challenge, hiring the right engineers, or finalizing a fundraising round, we have all the experience and resources you need to get started; this sort of thing is in our DNA. There’s a reason more startups build on AWS than any other provider: we’re here to help you succeed from inception through to IPO.

Guess I’m old and critical, and probably too cynical, but cannot imagine an Amazon-related AWS solution worth considering.
The over-reach of mankind on this planet is exemplified by business-as-usual dominance games, which is how we got to climate chaos, and no other company reflects this than labor-squelching, environmentally horrific, and monopolistic Prime. Having watched a generation of our very-best talented minds bent to Wall Street and finance to tease out fractions of megabucks, instead of solving the climate chaos looming ever-closer and I cannot allow my faith in ‘profit’, er entrepreneurs, being able to save any of this. We see the limits of cash-piles to motivate, to generate meaningful Hollywood scripts, to forge new games and adventures while destroying the teams slaved to ‘xec expectations: there are better motivational systems than dangling carrots.
