Karitsa village Ossa mountain

Karytsa is a settlement in Thessaly in the Regional Unit of Larissa. Karitsa is located northeast of Larissa near the mouth of the Pinios River in the Aegean Sea (Southern Thermaic Gulf), at an altitude of 300 meters.[2] It is approximately 54 km NE. from Larissa and 34 km N. from Agia (the seat of the municipality). Northwest of the village is Stomio and southwest is Kokkino Nero.
