Are McLaren Favourites For Both F1 Championships In 2025?

After hugely promising seasons for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, featuring maiden Formula 1 Grand Prix victories and performances that led McLaren to their first Constructors' Championship in 26 years; can they build on their success in 2025, and could we see one of the drivers clinch the individual world title?

Do you guys remember when Mika Hakkinen said before the 2023 Monaco GP that McLaren IS the team to look out for and that they will be winning championships. Back then they had one of the slowest cars on the grid. 18 months later they became Champions !!

I really don’t understand the hate for Norris, he’s regularly proved that he’s a team player and is constantly refining his driving. He’s fast and willing to fight when he needs to.

Lando is gonna do it this year! Every year, he has gone better in terms of podiums, points and now wins and if he has a competitive car, I doubt anybody will stop him this year from winning the WDC Unless Red Bull produce a Rocketship!

Checo helped McLaren won the 2024 F1 Constructor Championship. I doubt it would be that easy since he is no longer in F1.

Lap 1 Lando could upset the apple cart.. however i feel he isnt ruthless enough and maybe Oscar will wipe the floor with him.. shades of DC and Mika

We will see this season if there is perseverance because you can be the favorite but perseverance comes from experience and enduring all kinds of tests.

My hope is that the top 4 teams are even closer in 2025 than we have ever seen them. But in the end Verstappen clutches an epic 5th title :D
