THE CITY OF FAT ANIMALS!

In this city, fat animals are EVERYWHERE!

When I landed in Turkey, Istanbul, I was surprised about how much the locals care about the stray dogs and cats. They're all FAT! None of them have an owner, but they feed them, give them beds and take care of them. All for free. The Turkish people are some of the most kind and genuine people i've ever met. I can't wait to go back!

See you in the next video!

Imagine having a bad day, but then a random animal comes to you to be with you, can't imagine how great that would be.

“These Turkish people took care of animals that were’nt even theirs.” Trust me my friend, they’re no different than our own pets. They’re all ours. ✨

I think people don't realize that this should be the standard. All cultures should be as polite as Japan, as friendly as Turkey, and as welcoming as New Zealand. I've been to all these countries and people there exude kindness. As compared to the USA and UK, where I was met with apathy, racism and just plain hostility, it is nice to know that there are many countries that have a culture so compassionate it is reflected in their people.

Its not that they are ownerless, they are our friends who don't need to be "owned"

Istanbul is really the friendliest city for “stray animals “. They are tagged and vet checked and fed. Even shelters are provided for cats .
Usually, I am very apprehensive of stray dogs and when ever I see one I am watching for a sneak attack. Except in Istanbul, dogs seemed so relaxed and I felt relaxed.

I spent a month in Istanbul and I was amazed at how healthy and happy the stray animals were. People treated them well, and the government even sterilizes and vaccinates them. The Turkish people are amazing <3

I had been in Turkey more than 10 times and I can say that Turkish are very kind people. My mother's Turkish friend has a lot of cats at home and feeds homeless.

The fact they're all friendly with random people shows how many people have helped them to the point they are completely fine with strangers petting them

I've been living in Istanbul for several months now, first time coming here and like you i was so surprised also to see all the shelters and food in the street for stray animals. As a cat lover I feel much admiration for the local people and this natural tradition. I have traveled a lot around the world and it is the first place I see anything like that. Now I do like the locals, I buy food and feed animals several times a week. Sometimes we even take some to the vet when they seem sick. Feel blessed to be able to discover this beautiful city <3

Turkey is the country for me. Any country that loves animals like this is #1 in my heart.
