Operation Warm at Moorpark Unified School District

Moorpark Unified School District distributed nearly 800 pairs of shoes provided by Operation Warm, a donation made possible thanks to a partnership between the Philadelphia-based nonprofit and the office of Ventura County Supervisor Janice Parvin. The shoes were part of 5,000 pairs donated to school-age children in Moorpark and Simi Valley through Supervisor Parvin’s office. Members of the Moorpark Morning Rotary Club volunteered to help with the shoe distribution for TK through second grade students at three Moorpark Unified schools: Flory Academy of Sciences and Technology, Arroyo West Active Learning Academy and Campus Canyon College Preparatory Academy.
