I haven't been in a cyber truck but I have been in the lightning and rivian r1t. The rivian is nice but kind of small if you have a family. I have to say the lightning was nice. But if you are going to spend lots of cash on a ev tesla by far can't be touched. The Austin factory is a game changer, I can't see any other manufacturer being able to complete with them for years. In the next 2-3 years half of parking lots will be teslas. The other thing is the way you purchase vehicle's. The old way of getting ripped off at a dealership is on the way out.

In 2006, I bought my 1st new truck (after owning 2 used pickups until they rusted through). My FUSO FG140 (4WD, dually, low cab forward with 10' x 7' mason dump) is still serving me well today. Initially, everyone had an odd reaction to my purchase - now, 16 years later and ZERO issues, I get compliments on it everywhere I go - followed up with will I sell it to them. I always say to see my widow - or children should my wife&I "go" together. My tri-motor CT Reservation # is in the 75, 000s and the long delay is just making the anticipation sweeter - gonna keep my 2020 ModelY, too as she's too sweet to part with, as well.

Most people don't realize that aerodynamics are more important in an EV than ICE because you don't have the energy to waste (especially when they drive at 70 or 80mph) so thats why Cyber Truck looks different. And adding bigger batteries to get equivalent range means your road trip charge times are longer and the vehicle costs more.
Meanwhile, drove past the gas station the other day and several monster truck pickips were gassing up at $4.50 / gal - ouch.

I just saw a Rivian at my local Costco in SF. It looks f'n amazing! ...it also looks like the same size as my Model Y. With its horrible towing performance and relatively high price, I don't think this will be a 'work' truck. More like, "Look, I can go camping, " truck. But my Model Y has a literal camp mode! It did look phenomenal, great job with the design. Its specs, not so much :( Seeing my Y and this new all electric Truck in a sea of ICE vehicles was also super dope. I can't wait for my Cybertruck! More electric vehicles, please!

I remember being laughed at having an iPhone when it first came to Australia 🇦🇺. Lifting saucers to their ear 👂 and yelling HELLO HELLO was popular. They all eventually got them. Cybertruck will do the same. Samsung/Android version is in the pipeline lol 😆

Hey Brian.
We ordered a model Y last week. The young man at the Tesla showroom and I were talking everything Tesla. He said the pre orders for cybertruck was at about 2 million. So, Yeah, somebody's probably going to buy at least one and maybe drive someplace.
Our model y will be ready between November of 22 and February of 23. Yeah, I'm pretty excited.

If Ford could produce the Lightning 'battery' for $16, 000, it would be a miracle. There won't be fleet prices for electric trucks for a decade or more.
