New Bright RC El Toro Loco 1:15 Scale Monster Truck

Today we are looking at the New Bright R/C 1:15 scale El Toro Loco. I picked this up at Target for $30 because I liked the look of it. I'm a sucker for monster trucks and I thought this would be a fun project to try to take on. Before I destroy it though, I thought I'd show people what it is capable of out of the box.

It is really slow and can't overcome very much. This would be for young kids and only useful on smooth surfaces that don' t have a steep incline. The details on it are pretty cool. It has a full plastic chassis (that I'm using to base a metal cage build for it). Hope you enjoy the video.

I got my 4 year old son the grave digger version. He had a ton of fun with it, but it does lack power. Can't expect much from a toy. I am planning on 3D printing a new chases and reuse the body and tires. Going to also change out the electronics. Can't wait to see what you can do with it. Thanks for sharing.

The ECX Temper or Redcat Everest16 might be another option for axles. They are essentially the same truck but with different stock electronics. Might be a bit cheaper than the Barrage.

Go with gen1 exc temper or redcat everest 16 axles not the barrage its almost as wide as a scx10. I think you could re-use the tanny, drive shafts and shocks to!

I love to hate new bright vehicles i test allot of rhem they all look great even tho they are hit and miss on how they drive i like the rock buster and the 1/10 grave digger ecx temper parts might do good👍👍💣💣

Junk. As expected. Battery ran out in a few hours (no big deal), ours takes ((5)):double A rather than recharge. Drive gear is grinding in a day and tires are out of round as well. Remote has a wire attached.

Make it brushless only 2s tho and maybe better tires and suspension and new servo and remote
