I paid 35 for this and am blown away. What sold me was the action, but I'd have paid more for a D2 version or maybe VG-10? But is there a way I can get phosphor bronze washers for this aftermarket?

Why the heck did they decide to not put ball bearings in the pivot of this knife. With all of the designs that are needlessly getting them, they decided to not put them in this super classy, exceptional design (as kershaw imports go). I would gladly pay an extra 3-5 bucks for a smoother action. No one is using this for a work knife. Its pure EDC, which means you arent getting a bunch of junk in the inner workings. What a dumb move.

Edited: Kershaw, nice job on a good looking knife at a great price. However, most gentleman with good taste agree, deep carry clips > standard clips.

When it was first announced, I wanted one. Well, here it is almost October and still no Epistle. My interest is waning. Lots of other nice knives are available at better prices. Actually, this was the only Kershaw announced this year that interested me. Too many humpback knives. Too many gimmick knives. What would really interest me is a new Volt II with bearings, colors, D2 steel, etc. Same with the Entropy; a knife that deserved better. Probably time to ditch the spring assist too. It's just not needed and the springs will break eventually. Ganzo is doing it better and cheaper.

Absolutely gorgeous design love the non-circular pivot design, but one thing bothers me.

IT USES 8Cr13MoV AT THE PRICE OF $50!!!

At least use D2!
