Ok, some of you want to hear what it was like to be a makeover queen on Drag Race. I will make short posts over a few days telling all the backstage drama and T that I can remember. Even the night the military men stole all the vodka and got drunk on set one night. When I stop and think about it, it's been several years now. And being on the show changed completely what I call the final chapter of my life. I'm very old now, 75, and doing well

Instead of treating the contestants like prisoners they can get everyone to live in the same house and film what happens in the house. Something like ANTM. So they get drama both at the house and in the work room

Honestly, I would do the same thing that Ru does! Who wants to sit there fully padded and tucked for hours and hours on end, when no one at home will ever see your outfits once you've sat down?! I'd rather be comfortable and enjoy myself somewhat while serving full glam from the waste up.

I loved the first 6 or so seasons…..In the early seasons the contestants had more sewing challenges….they were given supplies and a challenge theme and I loved seeing the end result…Now all the Queens show up with a elaborate wardrobe they had made for the show. I also miss the old version of Untucked…it made Great TV.

It's funny that they go through so much to preserve the drama (not letting the queens talk to each other after hours, locking them in their hotel rooms, etc.), because for me, the drama is actually my *least* favorite part of the show. Show me the challenges and the designs and save the bitchfights.

A little bit of tea for the double take part: During Season 6 Untucked, Trinity K. Bonet revealed as she walked the runway ( the time with no music). She heard Santino Rice make fun of her flipper. By imitating someone with a lisp. Which RuPaul stated that Santino was mocking him in "repeating" " She's an endangered species." And this was the Untucked episode where she reveal her battle with HIV.

The producers and the fandom are so toxic some of the queens actually quit drag because of the edit emotional abuse it’s crazy

The bit about filming all of the tops as winners makes sense to me. I've always wondered/been amazed at how the losing queens stay so composed.

The outfits in the truck for Dragrace Holland makes so much sense for Serdergine's outfits.

This explains why the winners don't look super excited or thrilled for long.

They need to lift the suitcase limits. Or allow a reimbursement expense for shipping stuff. That’s a way to elevate the drag shown. I’m willing to bet most of the queens have friends or contacts willing to drive across the country to drop the drag off. The least they could do is give gas money for this type of stuff. They sometimes give $5, 000 prizes for challenge wins. How about giving $5, 000 to all the queens for shipping their drag?

Holland is much smaller than the US and it's impossible to fly from one city to another because... Those routes just don't exist. So makes sense they get to fill a truck and drive to the studio

Omg! They are locked in their rooms?! That's like covid self-isolation! No wonder there's so much drama and arguments. Each of them gets to marinate in their own juices for weeks with no phone! 😱 This is sacrifice!

I Am So Thankful That I Found your Vlog’s. I Am A 68yr Old Mother With A Transgender daughter. It wasn’t easy but thank goodness we were able to do private school and the one was outrageously expensive but we were able to keep her in the school 8th through 12th with extra courses on how to act as a proper lady. And she loved it. We are so proud of her and her husband. She has a fantastic job and so does he. We have truly been blessed.

Yea, I lost interest when it became apparent that the entire show from beginning to end was fabricated and edited to match the storyline created by the producers and is as far from reality as a reality tv show can be, and when Violet confirmed that she walked away realizing it had nothing to do with the best of the best of drag, and the behind the scenes emotional abuse the queens to subjected to in order to get 'good' tv, I was done.

Detox would had been eliminated anyway unless Jinkx really messed it up. You have to think about the drama. Two thirds of RoLaskaTox already made it into the final three. Those three, especially Roxie, were the villains while Jinkx was the underdog. Yes this is a contest but it’s also a reality show first and foremost. The *drama* needed to be there.

The Contestants from Drag Race Holland could come to the studio by car because they live all nearby.

LIP SYNC SONGS: I actually talked to Darienne Lake when she was in Michigan for a show. She told me that, during Season 6, they'd gotten another Chaka Khan song to learn ("Tell Me Something Good"), but they ended up using "I'm Every Woman" instead.

One thing that has made me increasingly more and more angry over the years is that when they do the "next time on" segment or 'after the break' segment the editors edit completely out of context to make it seem super dramatic and then when you actually watch it you're disappointed because none of it ever happened as advertised. One of the many reasons production ruins the show
