EXTREME DECLUTTER CRAFT ROOM - Part 2 // Organizing Craft Supplies // Frustrating Craft Room

This by far has been the most frustrating room to organize. By the end of day two we were exhausted and running out of inspiration. I hope this helps anyone feeling overwhelmed with their space know that they are not alone. We have taken a bit of a break from this room due to my sister's move but it was much needed! Now we are ready to start finalizing the space and make it beautiful and functional for her.

Make sure you subscribe to see the reveal next Friday!

Everyday cleaning, deep cleaning, organizing, decluttering and more!! My life is always a mess and I am just trying to stay on top of it.

Never forget that if all you did was make it through the day, that’s fine. We all get tired and we can’t be our best self every moment. Rest, get back up and keep going

Wow! She is so lucky to have your support and help! That was a very overwhelming room to declutter and organize! It is looking amazing. She has some very cool vintage pieces...I love them. But it can be harder to organize when you are using them. It's like putting a puzzle together! Keep up your great work!

Her vintage storage pieces are unique, charming, and beautiful I love Ikea-type pieces for their practicality and uniformity.

I can relate to having to go through things several times before I’m finished decluttering

It looks awesome so far!! I appreciate you helping people who struggle. I myself am doing the same thing in my house with my husband who has a really hard time letting go of things. It is frustrating and sad and I feel bad for him but I totally get where he is mentally with his background
I applaud you feeling the same and trying to help people. 💕

I said to myself at the start of this video that it was going to be impossible to square this room away, and I bow to your superior organizing skills, because...you guys DID IT!!! I am a great fan of the IKEA crap too. I hope to redo my own craft\doll collection room with all IKEA or similar pieces in white, because I love the "clean" background that white gives an already colorful collection (of anything). I think the most difficult part of decluttering (for me), is the letting-go of anything even remotely sentimental. And it looks like your client has a lot of things that might fit that description. But, realistically, you just can NOT keep ALL the things, and still be organized. ( Unless you own a warehouse.) So nice to see that she is embracing organization and gaining control over her environment! Of course, the on-going challenge will be for her to at least maintain this level of decluttering, over time. Will you be offering yearly check-ins or follow-ups?

I was in the process of totally re-organizing my craft /bedroom. Everything had to be removed in a hurry to put the new flooring down. Hubby is frustrated that it is taking me so long to put stuff back, but THIS TIME, I am going slow and steady and trying to organize more efficiently. I was watching de-cluttering videos while I worked and this is how I found your channel. Love watching the transformation. You give me hope that mine will eventually look good too. TFS

I love watching these kind of videos The organizing and decluttering video. This is a big project and overwhelming I am sure. The end results will be worth it. Hopefully she will be able to do a lot of crafting now.

My personal opinion is that decluttering does not neccessarily means that you just have to throw away more/most of your "stuff". I think it depends of the content of the "stuff". This lady might even have good products, though it might seem too much. If she can properly organize it, she can work/ create her way through it and buy less in addition to what she has. The problem with disorganization is that you later on do not know what you really have....
It is so great to watch these videos and get tips of how to organize one's own working/living/ creating areas. Thank you for doing it and sharing with us!

Omg, I’m LOVING these, I wanna do this as a job too! I love seeing other people’s cool stuff and in my own room I have a lot of stuff but it’s organised and has a space and place to go back to even if it’s all crammed… so this is sooo cool! Love that cubby wall! But I like my stuff out.. and colourful…. And seen….. pegboards are my jam! So interesting, tyfs!

What an AMAZING job, ladies!! Give yourselves a round of applause! I, too, am an IKEA organizer but I’m really enjoying this cozy vintage craft area. I can only imagine the beautiful projects this creative woman will be able create in this great space. Robin, it’s incredible how you were able to take all the unique storage containers and make them work! You are both such an inspiration!! I’m so EXCITED to see the final reveal!! 💕

Great job! I really enjoyed watching the second clean-out phase. I had to laugh at the opening scene with the thread bottleneck (gorgeous colors). At least your sister has clean, beautiful, useful excess goods. I am even not a crafter, but if I go into Michael's for glue, I want to buy everything (LOL). I am looking forward the the third video. Take care!

I’m in the middle of my 4th craft room purge. Moved into a smaller house. I just got past the what did I get myself into stage. I have to donate what in the middle of the room and get a piece of storage furniture from Ikea, until I can start on the large dreaded closet. I am also an ikea storage person. I make myself, take a photo of what the room looks like at the end of a day of working, even if I’m exhausted lol, then I can see the progress I might not be able to see 😆and lo and behold it’s there.
Btw, your tattoos are beautiful

Another thing to note. The 1st time I did this, I hardly got rid of much, that is completely normal for that to be the case. I watch cleaning decluttering videos on you tube.

Great job! Would be a real nightmare for my nerves 😅 Anyway, I understand the story behind and the fact that she’s not able to let go of things. But no matter how neat and tidy it all looks now, it’s practically impossible to find anything from that room. And once she tries to find a certain thing, the room gets easily messy again as she has to go through tens of bins to find what she’s looking for.
