On crimped terminal, a second crimp is often added to the insulation area for added strain relief. The back end portion of a contact that terminates the conductor and sometimes secures the insulation of a crimped terminal.

I was just debating between the two. Had both In my Amazon cart. Thank you for posting this video as I now feel confident purchasing the Hilitchi.

I love those Irwin strippers. I've used mine for years and they still work like new. I crimped all marine terminals with that Titan crimper and thought it worked well. I have a Pro Point that has a better swapable die.

Question for anyone that's figured it out - is there a glue that can be used under heat shrink tubing rather than using adhesive lined?

Canadian Tire sells a pair of crimpers that are a dead ringer for the Hilitchi. Probably a rebrand. Confusion exists which way to orient the jaws on the terminal. After research, I concluded the wire should be on the coloured dots side.

Do the jaw adapters have a part number? I'd like to just purchase the jaw die crimp tool. Thanks!

Was the Halitchi easier because the ratcheting mechanism was on the opposite side of the Titan? I wished you had of commented on that.

I could not squeeze the Titan crimper hard enough to make a crimp and then found it difficult to get it released. Disappointed in the product.

So the titan gave a double crimp, but the advantage goes to hilitchi? Why?

Humm strange the Amazon reviewer give Titan higher star rating. but then again they've been proven wrong before.

I am thinking about getting the titan crimper... But I am not sure if it's worth the CN$36 after seeing another crimper that looks exactly like the titan for 20$, but without the name "titan" written on the tool...

Is Titan a tool making company, or do they just slap their brand on generic stuff
