The avocado seed really took its time to start growing properly. The first sprout even died at day 71 just when it was going to pop out. I put the avocado seed in wet paper towel and put it in a plastic bag near an window. I had the seed chill there 4-5 weeks. I planted the seed when it immediately was cracked all the way around. I am 164cm tall and I can proudly say that the avocado tree is 170cm long :)
