With no warrant, cops have to leave otherwise it is criminal trespass.

Truth is, if they could get a warrant, they would have one.

When she said to leave, they should have done so IMMEDIATELY. She needs to sue.

Any cop who refuses to leave and doesn't have LEGAL reasons to be there needs to be charged with trespass

Never fall for the "just show us your birds" line..they try it all the time.

I love that the cop sounds inconvenienced about getting a warrant. Same when people say "If you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be an issue". Right, I have nothing to hide, but that doesn't eliminate my rights.

They claim they're gonna go get a warrant so they can look at her birds... Every judge in the district is gonna laugh them out of their chambers

This lady is 1000 percent right . She doesnt work for the cops. Cops work for her. Come by with a warrant, like lawfully, or youre just harassing. Bye

Get signs saying " No hunting no fishing no trespassing" and you can say to the cops, you cannot hunt for a reason to stay, fish for charges without probable cause or occupy my property without a warrant.

People don’t want to hate police, they just leave everyone very little choice…

Remember, if they could get a warrant, they would already have one.

Sounds like the officer is helping animal control. I had this happen once when I used to be a cop. Animal control called me to assist on taking a dog. When I got there the dog was in the backyard, tied to a tree. It had food, water and a dog house. It was about 50 degrees and raining. The dog didn’t look malnourished. There wasn’t anyone home. The animal control officer asked me if I had bolt cutters. I asked why. She said I’m gonna go “rescue” that dog. It’s clearly cold. I said, “Not without a warrant”. She wasn’t happy with me. Dogs are still property and she couldn’t show me any exigency to go and immediately take the dogs. I’m glad I didn’t assist because they never got that warrant. Lol. I don’t understand why any cop would say “I’ll just go get a warrant”. That could easily be taken for coercion which would muddy any case if evidence of a crime was found. Do what you’re paid for and go by the book. It’s not hard.
