I actually used to be homophobic too, I was raised by a single Christian mom and it sucked. It was hard to come out as-well, especially with the fact that there’s the possibility of being disowned or sent to a camp where they “fix” you. I’m happily gender fluid, and questioning my sexuality right now but it’s fine. My mom hasn’t disowned me, but she’s started spoiling and favouring my straight little brother. I’m still scared of being kicked out and/or disowned, but I’m doing okay now :D

I was raised religiously. I was raised by my grandmother because my parents were mostly at work. My grandmother told me that although she doesn’t support people in the LGBTQ+ community, she still believes they deserve respect and deserve to be supported by people.
