Legal Assistant/Paralegal (property)

Hi everyone,

I am currently working with a boutique law firm located in Perth who are looking for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal for a newly created role in their team.

The firm are based in the city and have a small, close knit and social team who have extremely low staff turn over. A couple of their staff have even left the firm to see if the grass is greener only to return!

Your days will be busy and varied and will see you:
Liaising with clients, buyers and settlement agents
Running files from pre to post settlement
Drafting contracts and correspondence
Calculating settlement figures
Review contracts
‌Liaise with banking institutions and prepare relevant documentation during the settlement process
‌

‌‌To be successful in this role you must have:
Experience working as a Legal Assistant or Property Paralegal
‌Exposure to PEXA
‌Conveyancing experience
Hands on experience with files
