It is unrealistic for the US and Western Europe to catch up with Russia or China in the production of weapons and ammunition and thereby save their world order for the following reason: The old industrialized countries have outsourced their production capacities to the developing countries. The reason for this was that they wanted to generate maximum profit for the shareholders through low wages. As a result, the ruling class has placed itself at the forefront of value creation without letting the working class share in the profits. For this reason, the old industrial nations do not produce steel and aluminum or drill for oil. Because their strong currencies mean their industry is no longer competitive with developing countries. For this reason, Western economies can no longer exploit their production potential. That's why Russia, whose arms budget is 5 percent as large as the US, produces twice as much artillery. The ruling class in America and Western Europe wants to save a world order that has created the problem described above. That is simply impossible.

Interesting point on the nuclear proliferation. From one hand it seems like the cheapest way for US to block out the hostile powers, especially when russia and China are already arming their allies with one. From the other hand there is a question of loyalty of US allies. Lets take germany for example. How fast do you think they would flip on to the russian side of the fence 🤔
