Two quick kills with the brutal firepower of FW 190 A-8/R2 | IL-2 Sturmovik Combat Flight Simulator

The FW 190 A-8 was introduced to combat in the Spring of 1944. It had thicker armour on the engine cowling and, with C3-injection, it had 30 minutes of 'emergency power' (three ten minute intervals after 10 minutes normal use) in a flight. The A-8/R2 also had 2 wing mounted 30 mm MK 108s in addition to 2 wing mounted 20 mm MG 151/20s and 2 nose mounted 13 MM MG 131. This provide the pilot with a HUGE amount of firepower!
