LEETCODE STRATEGY FOR 2024 | MY PERSONAL APPROACH WHICH GOT ME FAANG OFFERS | END TO END ADVICE

Today we are doing a video on my no-nonsense guide to Leetcode. The purpose of this video is to hopefully guide you through the steps of going from total beginner to getting hired. I won't sugar coat things, sell you fake dreams/promises, or try to sell you a course. This is the exact approach I've used to pass my interviews and get offers.

Of course it may not work for you. There's no one-size-fits-all solution here and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. This guide should hopefully give you an idea of how to approach this grind from start to finish and what you should be doing at each stage.

Beautiful video.
I started as newbie over a year ago and have practiced almost every day since then.
Couldn’t even solve basic Two Sum😅 back then.
Im still not perfect now…not even close to where I want to be but I have improved immensely over the past year. Can solve easies now and 50%-70% of most mediums I come across.

It takes a lot of practice but it is absolutely doable💪🏾

More than one third of Non FAANG companies I interviewed with asked me leetcode questions (half of them are leetcode hard) too. It's probably because a lot of those employees were ex-FAANG companies.

These are very insightful questions to ask that some may really overlook e.g. inward honesty

Probably your best video yet! Can you make a video on how to move from junior to senior - what changes to mindset etc does it take?

I have a spreadsheet where I list all of my questions and notes about their solution that I review often. I'm at 182 questions so far. Great advice in your video. I use the neetcode roadmap with company filtered questions. Will keep on the grind. Love your videos!

Hey man! Thank you so much for your assistance! Did you take advantage of the Meta mock interview by chance? What was your experience? Do you recommend it?

What resources would recommend for SQL interview prep? Leetcode SQL top 50? If I recall correctly, SQL questions on Leetcode are not company tagged. Thanks once again for a great video!

It's interesting how your approach differs from others I've seen. Some people say memorize patterns not solutions, but you go the other way. I say whatever works, works!

Only thing I didn't see you cover is system design -- what are the steps to prepare for that type of interview?
