yes, all of the original function of the headlight system work just as designed. The only thing that changes is the amount of travel from open to close has decreased.

When you removed the rubber grommet off the linkage, did you toss on the washer and nut and tighten the whole thing - THEN put the grommet back on? Great video btw 9 years later it still holds up!

only if you unplug them, otherwise they go a full rotation and reset.

Hey, this Video helps me. But im to stupid to set the rod so that is completely open or closed. If the headlight on the highest point its dont full closed if i want to hide the headlight. If i set it so that its full closed than i have the problem its not high enough to see anything if its dark. And in germany our cars will be checked by engineers so the headlight must be on the right Position. Can u help me?

U know you can just adjust the red knobs to adjust the height.
