My team has worked on site the entire time, while many others left the office and burdened us with their work. They didn't care about us when they left. They didn't care each time their tasks got dropped in our laps. Why should I care about them now? If this does not apply to you then you won't be offended.

They really hate us don’t they? Why do they make it so hard to telework the private sector is not making telework this stressful!! I’m thinking about going private for several reasons.

When Clinton was president, before telework, jobs were offered at cheaper locality pay locations when jobs were terminated in high paid locality areas. Now, it would be easier and cheaper to do the same with teleworkers. Going back to the office is less painful for now. With telework, we don't need to pay these high salaries in high locality areas. I always felt like my job could end any minute teleworking.

Armand, so spot on & brutally honest in this video! Defense is about lining Lockheed Martin’s pockets. Congresses obsession with return to work is about the investment companies who lease to the federal government continuing to get paid, it would be hell for them if OPM didn’t renew these leases. SSA had a problem finding & resting HR Specialists who hired people. Someone got a big fat contract to hire contract HR Specialists & in the job tithe it says 100% remote work anywhere. SSA will contract a company & pay them big bucks to get the people they need but won’t attract & retain HR by offering 100% remote?! Hmm

Wage correction for telework can be considered troubling.

The GS-07 role I’ve interviewed for is 75% travel based/telework by default, but for folks expecting to work remotely, being paid RUS/limiting pension eligibility can be a make or break deal.

Both parties have similar views unfortunately.

I had to leave a position before the pandemic or when more people started teleworking because my disability accommodation to telework was denied. After I requested this disability accommodation at two different agencies at the same department, everyone there hated me. Would I not get hired again if I applied to the same department, but a different agency in case there might be an HR record of not one, but two resignations in the same department? I never filed a complaint against either agency.

So many points to make but the one in particular you have to mention when you talk about these things Republicans are the ones against this and the ones drawing up these laws. The reason why is corporations do not want to pay for workers being at home they feel that they are lazy and will take advantage of the company they would rather have you pinned down at work then anything else an example of this is musk remember when he left California to go to Texas and he demanded that all workers working outside of the job come back to work and this was when covid was still a thing he did not care he is one of the billionaires that helped write these laws but the problem is people keep on holding the same Republicans in that do not care about the workers Trump actually said the unions are no good because they take too much money out of the hands of the company he promised a bunch of CEOs if he was elected he would break apart all the unions that exist and make them weaker of course as long as they gave him money to his campaign another example is that Trump when he got into office gave 1 trillion dollars in tax breaks to the rich and Bush before him gave 800 billion dollars in tax breaks to the rich neither one of them did extra things for the working people keep on voting Republicans and you have the trickle-down effect that they want you to believe so I hope you guys like this trickle down that you have
