Great way to practice pairing melody and chords! The B11 root note sounds awesome with the high e. 7:08.

Wow, I love YouTube. Where else can you get this quality of insight from a down to earth guy who is a marquee player. Thank you!

Great Lesson Rob :) Thank You :) I wonder one day if you could talk about funk chord inversions and mini chords? Like what you played on "Little L" ... Great Channel Mate... :)

Great video as always fella. Always take value from your playing and words. Thank you. I also bought a Nano Cortex last week (controversial!) - I had a small gig and wanted to have a simple set up. I used your Div13 FTR37 capture and it sounded KILLER! I really wanted that funk clean for some Nile stuff and it couldn't have sounded better! Thank you for making it available and your output. Now go enjoy that cold beer!!!

Great to hear you are making progress on the Jamiroquai record, I hope Paul is playing the baselines.... 😉 ( you didn't mention him being in the studio )

I suppose the leading notes before landing on the chord note also influence the vibe of the chord choice

Hi Rob, can I ask you about the new work with Jay? Do you think your compositions are better or Equal to the previous album?
