Christmas search for missing man

Residents of neighbouring St. George communities have been rallying their efforts to find a missing friend and family member on this Christmas Day.
72-year-old Lionel McDonald Gadsby of Jordans, St. George has been missing since Friday.
Friend David Wood says it is uncharacteristic for Lionel to be gone for such a long time without at least checking in with friends or relatives.
He says the search has expanded more since then with others joining, including the police with drone technology, and they remain optimistic that he will eventually be found safe.
He says the communities have truly pulled together, searching the gullies and bushy areas, as Lionel’s disappearance has affected everyone at this usually festive time of year.
David is urging anyone who should see Lionel to give him a call at 820-5671.
