Lisa Vogl has gone on to Co-found Verona Collection. One of the first Muslim/Hijab fashion companies in Americas. And THE 1st Muslim/Hijab fashion company to enter MACYS or any large American retailer. She's been Muslim for over 12 years now. ALHAMDULLILAH! @lisamvogl

I recently took shahadah, but i've always found women wearing hijab extremely attractive, even back when i was in highschool. I like the modesty and stoicism associated with the hijab.

I never had this view of hijab being "oppressive" because I grew up in a small town with Amish, German Baptist and Mennonite women that covered their hair. My family was just Christian, not any of these denominations but I knew they all covered for their Lord. When I became Muslim it was easy to wear hijab because of those other women who covered for their Lord.

subhanallah, the courage it takes to become muslim in western societies - especially for women - is remarkable!

I'm very jealous of reverts because they go through a real journey of finding Islam and hidaya than us born muslims who are too lazy to. The happiness on their faces and the sense of peace is always so radiant. Alhamdulillah anyways I am still muslim either way

"Hijab liberates me, it's that I choose what people can see of my body"- this line..

Exactly, the hijab is the way that liberates women from beauty industry which left them always running towards impossible goals, and made men objectify its far less stressing for a woman in a couple to know that all other women are covered which lower competitivity

With every question he asked, I would stop the video and answer it for myself. Each converts story is such a miracle in itself . SubhanaAllah

I'm still working on my confidence, I took my shihada, over a year and a half ago. It's taken me time to adjust, I'm still uncomfortable with the questions and judgment form people. I don't wear hijab but I dress more modestly than I used to. I hope with time I'll get there insallah.

This video brought tears to my eyes, Especially the part when she took shahadh..
A Very impressive and beautiful story. I cannot imagine a world without Sourat and Fatiha. So I imagined What it would be like if somebody just showed it to me for first time...This was breathtakingAnd that's how I related to the sister taking the Shehadah.
