Wont all that additional water spray dilute integral color? Makes it impossible to replicate if doing a large floor?

The additional water will diminish the cement strength on your grout coat, the same burnished result could be got by useing a finer sand/dust like marble at the same ratio to cement as the sand used in the base coat, filling your voids and sanding, the burn is only possible if an uneven coat is present they are the high points your trowel compresses ..

Has anyone done this for a concrete floor finish just wondering what the end result would be like as I'm thinking of doing it myself.

That looks like it would be alot of fun, must be for countertops only, I couldn't imagine doing this on a 3000 sf floor 👍

Which integral color did you use on this?

do you have a product with no sand in it, just a marble/silica flour? Used to use Bomanite/QC microtoppings back early 00's and was a great material. Looking for similar.
Ardex SD-M is close but way overpriced...Just need a true microcement product with no sand

Sorry but adding water is a big mistake.
