Going to buy a promist filter for my 2 lenses! Love Your work Evan!

Heads up this same style of filter was being used on film cameras for the same look not because film wasn’t sharper. A lens with haze will provide similar effects.

Isn’t it amazing how we spend more money now to make our photos look like film after investing so much in gear for sharp photos?

What kind of promist do you use? 1/2, 1/4, 1/8?

Use a vintage lens..less expensive than modern lenses & authentic unsharp effect.

I can get this for free by rubbing my greasy fingers over a uv filter

Or you could just shoot on actual film. It's not too expensive for a decent set up/development and scanning fees. Then you wouldn't have to mimic the film look, you could just get it yourself!
