Razer have designed a completely new style of keyswitch - "Opto-Mechanical" using light to actuate a key press instead of moving metal parts. It's pretty interesting - so lets take a look at it in their new Huntsman keyboard!

In my opinion, the tactility does not make it difficult to press at all, and you can get many presses quickly because of the optical switch

Honestly it's a great keyboard. It sounds better than my older Blackwidow, and the keys are crazy responsive. Very smooth keyboard, but to each their own.

I've had this since not long after it released, first mechanical keyboard, I came from a Razer Deathstalker, I don't care too much about keyboard, but the optical keys got me interested. It's loud when typing but during gaming it's fine anyway. Can't see myself replacing this anytime soon unless they make a Huntsman V2 that is a big improvement.

The keyboard is way quieter than what is presented in the video, so keep that in mind. Great keyboard.

I was going to buy this. I have the death adder V2. Death Adder V2 is the best mouse i have ever used in any circumstance since 1985. I was hoping to have Membrane or quiet switches + razer optical, but no. That is crazy loud.

I just got this keyboard about an hour and a half ago... Can it be customized like the other keyboards can? I mean can you sue razer synapse to change the colors. I have tried but it seems I cant.
