Michael Jackson - The Lady In My Life (Full Version)

During the final stages of the production on the thriller album, Quincy, Bruce and Michael "sat there in the studio, Westlake Studio in Hollywood, and listened to the whole [Thriller] album", where they realised that the final mix for the album was "crappy". They later fixed this issue by trimming down songs, one of which being "The Lady In My Life".
The extended mix of TLIML went unreleased as the track was never given the chance to be on a 12'' single, leaving the 2nd verse and extended outro on the cutting room floor.

The extended mix later was released in shoddy quality by Rod Temperton, and later leaked online in slightly higher quality by Brad Sundberg in 2020.

I have taken Brad Sundberg's copy and merged it with the album mix with the aid of AI and restored it, creating a definitive "Full Version".

This sounded great and I’m still sad that TLIML and BBM both didn’t get an single release, but luckely this mix gives us an taste of what could have been 😁

Fun fact: Thriller almost wasn’t released as an single due to Epic not believing in it, but luckely Michael was able to convince Epic in the end to still release it as an single 🙌
