This theme is both sad, yet oddly uplifting at the same time. I mean, in a way, it makes me think of a somewhat brighter tomorrow, regardless of how bleak and depressing the present and past are. I say this as a person who is extremely cynical and jaded, with little to no faith or hope in humanity, which makes it even weirder that a song makes me feel like that. I can’t describe it, easily, but it’s like that moment in a film where the characters are at the funeral of a good friend, and they see a bird land on a tree branch, and it starts singing. When they notice it, the characters are thinking “we’re going to be alright. Maybe not today- maybe not even a year from now, but eventually we’re going to carry on with a smile on our faces.” You know what I mean?

Karl was my favorite character throughout most of the game, but now Emìle undoubtedly is the best character in any game I've ever made.

I just think it's sad during the final part, you know how everyone else disappears when they look at Emile, But Freddie doesn't, it just makes me sad that Freddie saw Emile, his truest friend, die in front of his own eyes

I have never been this sad when playing a game before. The ending of Valiant Hearts was a great and sad experience. For once in my gaming life, i teared up a bit.

I know this game has been out for years but *Spoiler Warning*

Through the entire duration of the game i expected Walt (The dog) to die. I never thought it would be Emile that would be killed. But he died to save the lives of others.
