Software updates and other proprietary programming should become open source the minute you go out of business...

Jake… could you make a suggestion to get an update on the Lamborghini tractor? Remember seeing it in the shop for repairs and upgrades.

That’s the reason I have an 08 Durango and an 07 Crown Victoria. Both work beautifully, both start every morning. Both are dirt cheap to fix with parts abundance. And they’ve got zero remote crap that’ll allow anyone to either trace, follow, take control or anything like that. Neither have Bluetooth even lol

Man, people were paying over $70K for the Ocean One launch edition vehicles. I had one of the $50K Extreme models reserved for two years before I got cold feet and canceled it. We went to see one at a pre-launch event in Seattle and my wife was really not impressed once we saw it in person. She was seeing things I was ignoring because I had rose colored glasses on. I canceled it a month later after doing some research for a replacement. Thank god I did!

Bit by bit, Big Business is trying to move us away from the concept of physical ownership of their product to a model where you're purchasing a _license_ to use the product, but the manufacturer maintains ownership of the physical product.

The chemistry between you two is amazing! 🤩 Tyler coming in clutch with the last line zinger and April's face. 🤣

The big problem I see about being a slave to the manufacturer on something you don't actually own, is how quickly will they get bored, and no longer support it. You are at their mercy, and I haven't heard of a single manufacturer commit to any long term updates and support, let alone actually following through with it.

I really like the idea of a good EV. That said i really enjoy the two Toyotas we currently own. They are 19 and 18 years old and in really good shape. Other than owning them for almost two decades what I appreacate about them is that I can fix pretty much anything that might go wrong in them. It's a quick call to my local NAPA dealer or rockauto, get the parts and just bolt them in.

I own a 1987 pontiac fiero gt and gm instructed all aftermarket part manufacturers to cease and desist letters. We are picked on 40 year old cars. You (gm)will not sell parts or let anybody else make parts. Not good. I just found a new in box condenser from a auto salvage, $50.00 .37 yrs old / I found a new one on ebay for$350.00 . The ni.b. is in my garage. Now I have to have all the fluid sucked out so I can remove the hole front of my car apart. I love cars and motorcycles and watches. Nice video.

First time I seen a Fisker Karma I loved the look, I still like the shape but every time I look at it it looks cheaper & cheaper.
