CSS NC 2 COC 1 - Installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 using Hyper V

To install Windows Server 2008 R2 on Hyper-V, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that you have a Hyper-V host set up and running. Hyper-V is a virtualization platform provided by Microsoft and is available on Windows Server operating systems.

2. Obtain the ISO or installation media for Windows Server 2008 R2. You can either download it from the Microsoft website if you have a valid license or use a physical installation disc.

3. Open the Hyper-V Manager on the host machine. You can find it in the Start menu or by searching for "Hyper-V Manager."

4. In the Hyper-V Manager, click on the "New" button to create a new virtual machine.

12. Review the summary of the virtual machine settings, and click "Finish" to create the virtual machine.

13. Once the virtual machine is created, right-click on it in the Hyper-V Manager and select "Connect" to open a console window for the virtual machine.

14. Start the virtual machine by clicking on the "Start" button in the Hyper-V Manager or in the console window.

15. The virtual machine will now boot from the Windows Server 2008 R2 installation media. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

16. After the installation is complete, you can log in to the virtual machine using the credentials you specified during the installation.
