While flying a Britten-Norman Trislander from Southampton to Alderney... Captain Ray Bowyer and his passengers had a stunning UFO sighting.

He describes it as brilliant yellow, long, thin and angular with light emanating from the interior and a graphite grey section around two thirds along its length.

Thanks, Tom. In the past, pilots in the U.S.A. have been threatened with losing their jobs for reporting "flying saucers". Their psychological profile will be called into question during their next 6-month first-class FAA medical examination. This seems to be easing lately since Cdr. David Fravor, the FA-18 Navy commander has given a huge amount of credibility to this issue. In the Japan airlines case, all 3 cargo pilots saw the UFOs. Alaska ATC (radar) and military radar saw the UFOs. FAA investigator Callahan produced a radar/audio recreation of the actual event. And yet, the Captain of the 747 was given a desk job for many years for simply reporting what happened to him. There needs to be an FAA regulation that "requires" all pilots to report anything unusual that they see. The regulation should not just "permit" them to report, but "require" them to report, as was done by Cpt. Ray Bowyer. That is just MHO.
