This is why society needs to integrate elderly & children like we did in the past. The kids learn so much, especially empathy and the elderly become more alert, healthier & less depressed. Studies have shown it delays onset dementia & keeps them more mobile.

I had a god sent angel that helped me on a flight to Egypt 12 years ago . I was alone with my 3 month old colic twins . She held one of my daughters almost the whole flight praying for her to calm down. She slept in her arms most of the flight. Her name was Samira . she said she was a grandma 😍I’m Forever Grateful and will aleays remember her kindness.

I had a similar experience on our first plane ride with my eldest son. A flight attendant for southwest shared a story *she* had with her son on their first flight. She happily calmed and walked my son up and down the aisle and brought me a glass of wine… every time I think of her I cry. She was an angel. Now, 3 boys later, I love helping another mom when she’s clearly overwhelmed weather on an airplane or anywhere else. I promise you.. for that mom in that moment… it deeply matters. She will remember the kindness forever and pay it forward as soon as she gets a chance.
