Here's my video comparing 2 high output bridge pickups, a Bare Knuckle Pickups The Mule (Alnico IV) vs Bare Knuckle Pickups Holy Diver (Alnico V).

They're both very versatile and can do pretty much any genre, specially if you consider their excellent split coil sounds and how good they perform clean or on edge of breakup.

Both pickups are amazing for rock and metal, but which is the best? In this shootout, we'll compare the features of each pickup to find out which is the best for you. So make sure to watch the video to find out which pickup is the best for you!

Absolutely perfect demo. What I would have liked to hear is now artificial harmonics come out of these slightly lower output pickups. Bkp tends to have no problems with harmonics or clarity, though :)

It is impressive that a Paf can hold up so well when playing modern metal. How do they feel compared to each other?

Always the best in the business! Curious how you would describe the relative differences between the Holy Diver and Silo. My understanding is they are very close (same magnets and wire gauge and nearly identical output) with a different wind and pole piece being the only differences, and commentary from Nolly suggests the Silo will have more bass, little fatter mids, and a little more rolled off in the highs. Looking to see if you share in this perspective. Also, curious if you can tell a difference in dynamics such as compression, punchiness, pick attack, bite, woodiness, etc. and if the implication is that the HD will have any noticeable difference in low end tightness. Finally, any thoughts on if either option would have an edge for mid to lower gain alt rock kinds of stuff.

Got a new axe that I dont want to go through a lot of pickup roulette on. PRS Tremonti Baritone Hybrid (25.5" sale, maple neck, wraparound bridge but tunes to standard and Drop D, so lots of snap and attack but still full and balanced although it comes off as a little light in the bass in standard tuning). Tried True Grits first. Think the neck is a keeper, but the bridge could use a little more warmth and upping the mids and bass too.
