I can't believe that she didn't noticed that she's not wearing her space suit, and nobody in the chat told her about that.
Ame you should equip your space suit, and keep it that way all the time. Otherwise you're loosing lots of protection.
If you don't want to see it all the time, there is an option to hide it. Go to your inventory > Space suits, then press "T"

Compared to past Bethesda game it felt like Starfield traded content and the classic jank for graphical performance which wasn't really worth it imo. This is still the beginning so I'm looking forward to the journey, the ship combat looks fun! I'm still not used to how cute the new outfit is
