"You didn't think to ask if anyone else wanted it?"
"No. Because I wanted it."

It's amazing how she can perfectly be the most sane calming person but the most annoying Karen of the same time

As a former Target employee… that happened more times than my faith in humanity will allow me to admit.

This is why cashiers should be allowed to keep a spray bottle of cold water beside their register.

Have faith, people... Once, on Christmas, my mom was looking for some spice as some lady who got first to the shelf. They spotted it at the same time. My mom just smiled and took a step back. Lady said thank you and grabbed it. Her husband then said "ok, let's go". But lady said "no way. We have to find another one for her" gesturing to my mom. 😊 they looked for it like crazies and together finally found one for my mom too.

The way she told the Karen, "NO!" like a dog getting in trouble 😂

Lol I was surprised the woman waited till she was ready to pay, and didn’t try to take it from her cart right then and there

As a fulfillment worker at target, I’ve had this encounter MANY times, and they can’t understand that once I scan the item into the cart, it’s no longer accessible or available to the public, it’s like taking something out of someone’s bag after they paid at the register

Every Karen should be told "NO" just like that. Like a child

“Yikes, sorry” is the best thing to say when someone has a problem that really doesn’t matter to you.

You know she's good at acting when you want to punch one of her characters in the face

A similar thing happend to my dad when he was buying a Christmas decoration.
Karen: "Are you buying that?"
Dad: "Yes."
Karen: "But I was gonna buy it."
Dad: "Well, I guess you should've bought it before I did."💀

I've had similar happen! Like the lady followed me around the store saying how much she needed it. My response was always "me too". Up and down the aisles we went then I got tired of it and made a big show of putting on my earbud so she'd leave me alone. I didn't have anything playing because I needed to hear this whack job's next move. She grumbled some curse words and stormed off. It gets weird out here!😅

IT HAS TO BE A TARGET THING! I have twice had older women ask me for something in my cart/basket. The one time I was buying a Catwoman toy for my collection, and this lady straight up told me that I should give it to her because "She's my daughter's favorite superhero and if she doesn't get it she's going to start crying." to which I replied "That sounds like a you problem."
The audacity was REAL that day.

I'm surprised she was honest and didn't try to lie by saying she had it first.

Had this issue around Christmas. I had gotten two sets of a toy, one that worked on one console and one for another, one for each, niece and nephew. A lady came up and started berating me for daring to buy two when other people didn't get any. Didn't try to actually take it, but was all out screaming at me as I walked away.

This happened to me and my mother but with flowers at Home Depot. Despite what we told the women fawning over the same roses they had in the parking lot for sale, they insisted ours was "most beautiful they have ever seen" while touching them suggestively as if we would give it to them.

Only reason I believe they did that was because they saw us enjoying ourselves, but that's cause we are passionate for gardening.
