I haven't voted in the last few elections, mainly because I lost faith in our corrupt two-party system many years ago. Kennedy switching to Independent has reinvigorated my hope in our politics. I will be one of the non-voters joining Kennedy next year.

Look at the statute, Jessica; setting aside the family history and the two incidents so far, Kennedy has been eligible for SS protection for quite some time now and it's given given de rigueur to candidates in his position.

Well Jessica your argument that he doesn't deserve protection doesn't hold water. If you look at all of the other presidential candidates of both parties you will see that they were provided protection well in advance, more than a year, before the election. There have been other threats to his life that were not at his wife's house. Please review a little history and watch your own news. It might serve you in the future when doing commentary.
