Yes those are Clonetroopers because the show will have flashbacks to when Cassian Andor was a kid before he joined the Rebellion... the kid with the people near the woods is supposed to be young Cassian... and that era would've been around the Clone Wars time

I could be wrong but the woman at 1:05 and 1:27 in the trailer could be Maketh Tua from Rebels. She was the Minister of Lothal and a huge supporter of the Empire before she got that position. She eventually tries to switch sides before Vader and Tarkin find out and use her as bait to draw out Ezra and the Ghost crew.

It looks like this show is going into the Senate politics so it’d be interesting to see how her and other politicians try to rise through the ranks. We might even see Ezra’s parents as well.

The clones must be a young Andor flashback. He was a kid then, and I think it makes sense to go back and tell his experience of the rise of the empire.

As soon as I saw that hooded figure walking down that road I immediately thought, “that’s Cal Kestis!” I really think that if he is ever to appear in a Star Wars show, this is the one to do it in. My guess for the clones is that it's a flashback to the clone wars when the republic invaded a separatist world. Cassian said that he was in this fight since he was 6 years old. My guess is that he was fighting the clone army before fighting the empire. The guy walking up to the clones could be his father.

Fun fact: The eerie humming sound at the start of the trailer is the same one that plays during the famous meeting of Anakin & Palpatine in the amphitheatre in ROTS

Honestly wasn't too sure about this show prior to seeing the trailer since i wasn't interested in Cassian Andor's character but this looks super interesting to me now!

The clones parts could be set during the bat batch time just before the clones were getting phased out, speaking of which the elevator looking place in the trailer could be where scorch was in bad batch

From what I've heard that clone armor is also practical, so this is our first time on screen we are seeing legit practical clone armor and not cgi suits

7:15 his father was killed in a protest of the Republic militarization. I think the boy we saw at the start is andor in flashback where he’s part of a CIS insurrectionist cell.
