My parents have given me a lot of gifts over the years. One of the most valuable is to not be a racist. At all. I grew up primarily on military bases, which to my memory were always integrated. I can’t imagine how drab my life would have been to have to exclude huge swaths of the population for an AH reason like racism. I really hope this movie delivers on the promise of the trailer.

I’m not black but my husband is, my two sons are half and I can only imagine how it would’ve been for them around this time. Can’t even have a white friend and associate with them in public or private. How so much time was wasted hating a race, wasting your life ruining another that couldn’t help be born who they were and the way they were. Seeing this trailer just kinda got my soul hurting a bit just thinking and trying to put myself in someone’s shoes 🥺😔
