I’ve never owned a NVIDIA card but I bought a r7 260x for my little brother a few years back to get him started on pc gaming.
I remember I taught him how to overclock and when I came back a few days later he had ALL the sliders to the max, the gpu did not care at all. It was perfectly running with no issue. It stayed like that for a solid year before he sold the pc to upgrade

Well if u have 3060ti or 6700xt and want to play at 1440p, it can handle it but with no extra leeway, so u prolly wont be using rtx for 1440p game on those anyways to save more fps, so rtx isn’t really that much of a problem if you think about it. Plus games nowadays are becoming more and more vram expensive so the extra 4gb for 6700xt will be a benefit, especially if u like to play games while watching videos at the side or if u have alot of monitors thats playing videos or doing something graphic all while playing games.

I picked up my zotac gtx 1080 founders edition card up in the US on ebay for $160 and I've loved it so far and 1080 ti doesn't go for much more

In romania both the cards (at least on eMag, the amazon of romania) are the same performance, so if you're from romania it kinda just depends wether or not you want feautures or p2p :P

My brother has a 6750xt and it’s amazing. I’d reccomend that over the 6700xt personally but ofc it’s not as good price to performance. It gets etc 3070 results tho so

I bought my rx 6650 XT for around $250. It outperforms 3060 by a pretty big margin while being 20-40% cheaper. 40 series nvidia gpus are currently the best on the market, but if you can’t afford that, Radeon 6000 series is clearly the winner for price-performance ratio.
