They should not trade Klay because he helped them won 4 championships. He can play coming from the bench in a year or two. He's averaging 16 points per game which is still good average at his age.

The problem with Klay is he lacks self-realization. His cockiness makes him think that he's still one of the best players in the league that deserves the max contract, which he clearly isn't. If he had only done a Manu Ginobili or a Westbrook at the start of the season, taking the initiative to come off the bench and accepting a lesser role, it would have removed some of the pressure off him. He could be playing a lot more freely. Just look at Westbrook in the Clippers.

With the way he's playing this seasom, he only merits a 15-18 million a year salary, much like Bogdan Bogdanovic. No team would be stupid to give him a 4-year, 120M dollar contract.
