Exercising faith may not always be about overcoming trials and hardship, sometimes it is about trusting God in uncertainty, when you don't know what is ahead of you, what path to take, where it would lead, long periods of waiting etc. Instead of going nuts in confusion, we must have faith that He will be with us no matter where we are and what we do. It takes a lot of faith to be still and know that he is God. Once we fully surrender ourselves to God and ask Him to lead us in His will, we must have faith that we are walking in His will. Sometimes we are already in His will and we just need faith to keep moving forward.

1 Timothy 6:12 New International Version
12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Paul calls faith the "good fight". The enemy of faith is doubt.

I love Stephanie! I love her laughter. Her personality reminds me of mine. Every time I listen to her, she makes me want to draw closer and closer to God.

Some christians need to laugh more; they're so serious. I know it's a time and place for everything, but some christians act like God doesn't laugh - HE IS SUCH A SERIOUS GOD! I bet He laughs ALL the time, especially when we think our way is best. Proverbs 17:22 says, "Laughter does good like medicine."

Keep laughing and teaching HIS WORD Stephanie. You are truly a powerhouse for God. Selah!!!❤

"My ways are not your ways". This really spoke to me cause I'm in a season I can not really even put into words. But I see now that it is okay because I'm living in a way that is not my way, and the confusion is a normal reaction. But I'm learning to trust God, and for this, I am glad and remain hopeful that I will receive the joy of His salvation.

Wow God's timing in this.... I woke up with the Psalms 23 He.leads us ...and then the Lord's prayer, your kingdom come your will be done.
All of this ministered and challenged me. The story about the house, I have a house story too. I did not want the house and Acquiesced, with the caveat that you will let me do what I want. God and his gentle, but for mercy, convicted me today...😭
And the vision about what do you have to offer me and realizing that this life is but a breath and I have wasted entirely too much time..
I know the surrender is a trust issue and you spoke so very well to it. I hadn't thought about in the way that you presented it. Because I thought I had the goodness of the Lord settled in my heart. I hadn't thought about good enough to protect my vulnerability. I see. I need him to redeem my perspective because I'm still looking at whether or not the person's character is worthy of my surrender. When really? It is the character and nature of christ and our lord, who is worthy so much easier to say.
Fear needs to go...
I didn't realize that I was giving fear a place in my heart by withholding. My surrender, based on what I see with my eyes rather than what I am being invited into.

The surrender to me is throwing in the towel, raising my arms and saying alright okay. Submitting is bowing my heart to my knees and finally in willful obedience simply saying yes LORD.
