this is perfect. I don't really feel like coding anymore, but I still do my little scripts to test things and help with language learning. Every time I have an idea, I just want a quick and dirty working prototype that gets the job done. This kind of thing is what I was waiting for:

Great demo and amazing work, I’m excited for the future myself, however I think the main problems with this approach are
A. We’re still talking to it in python knowing full well that it understands natural language, which might be fine for drop-ins to existing code and for debugging purposes but kinda dumb when you can tell it what the whole program should do instead of just function names. especially if the AI is more prone to errors when it has to translate from python to natural language to python again.
B. I think most devs would prefer a conversational approach towards programming, whilst doom leverages things that would be otherwise delegated to an external library (that might not even exist) it ends up lacking higher-level understanding of whether the code written by the user is actually the best way to do it. I think the future would be a combination of generative libraries with something like copilot to leverage actual problem solving, syntax errors, and meeting app requirements especially for people who don’t know anything about programming.
C. I think the name is funny but gosh, is it gonna cause a media panic once it gets mainstream 😂

This application to me feels tantamount to being air dropped into a desert with an ai assistant attached to a giant construction rig. You literally build the city around you while you're standing in the center of it.

How can i use consume when i run the whole script at once on pycharm (instead of one section at a time with a notebook)? I get name error since the function is not defined. I can use doom tho but I want to use consume.

Having some issues using consume, the doomed code works fine but I have to copy paste it into my script. How do I access the functions in the cataclysm\code directory? Only have gpt-3.5 vaccess

Sorry if this question is redundent, but what did you use to catch when an undefined function was trying to get ran? Is there some kind of getter you can set on the globals() dict?

hey does the ai see the word "doom" in doom mode? just don't want to doom myself unnecessarily,
also I'm not actually going to use this at all probably,
also also it would be cool to have a version that asks you if you want to run,
also it would be cool for it to automatically test,
