UPDATE: Man accused of trying to kidnap child in Orange County arrested

A man who deputies said was caught on video trying to kidnap a child walking to school in Orange County was arrested Tuesday, according to sheriff’s officials.

Yeah, his claim that he was just going to take him school falls apart when you realise that he touched a child and said "you're cute". Thank goodness the boy was smart enough to walk away and inform someone about what happened

Thank God the kid knew to say “NO”. Shame on the system for letting him out after touching someone inappropriately and then living near a grammar school. As a child I was almost kidnapped 3 times, one was questionable as I was just followed by a bunch of guys in a car, but they had there arms around each other in the back seat and that freaked me out so i ran, they kept following me but i got away or they gave up. Another time it was a "nice" lady that opened her car door and tried to convince me to get in for a ride home, even though I kept saying no she followed me with the car door open, then I ran and she still followed until I was almost got home but lost her across the park, maybe she wanted to see i got home safe..? who knows... but the third time was the worst, I was about 9 and the old fat guy tried to convince me to meet his daughters, which I didn't care about but he was in the arcade at the circus circus in Reno, NV. Didn't see any kids with him, he wouldn't leave me alone, was flashing $100 casino tokens, I didn't want to be rude and I finally said okay, I was thinking they(his kids) were in the hotel close, as we walked more and more I got more nervous, we went across and down an escalator, then across the casino floor, I realized I was following him to the main exit door, we were only a few feet from it when I see a green van waiting at the curb with another guy in the drivers seat, they were looking at each other, there was a lot of loud noises in the casino and I said "hey that's my dad calling me!" and pointed at some guys that I started walking to, he didn't stop he just went outside without me, My plan to scare him worked. I think of the kids he most likely abducted to this day, I never told my parents.
