This jam was built around a bass line on the Leipzig sequenced from the Digitakt. On this song i've used the pattern scale per track function on the Digitakt. With the Leipzig bass line, the pattern is 256 steps at 1/2 speed. I switched off quantisation and played it in myself. I also used this technique for the CZ3000 parts and the synth brass pads that are sampled from my old Roland SH201.
The drums are a mix of samples from the Digitakt and Different sounds from the TR8 and RX5.
On a different note, i'm almost ready to release a free Bandcamp album which will be a collection of the tracks edited from my more chilled hardware jams. It's called Sabrehart's Lockdown Jam - Mellow Fruit Edition!
