2019 World Championship Semifinals Tease

Three regional champions and the defending World Champions will battle it out at the Worlds Semifinals in Madrid. The weekend begins with the two LPL teams, FunPlus Phoenix and Invictus Gaming facing off on November 2, 12PM CET / 4AM PDT. Day 2 continues with a Semifinals match between the LCK’s SK Telecom T1 and the LEC’s G2 Esports.

Every now and then I come back to this Teaser. And every time I get goosebumps. The moment after Skt has been teased, the moment after those 3 insane asian teams have been introduced, the winner of the LPL, the winner of last years worlds and the winner of the most world titles in the history of League of Legends - the beat changes and we see Ocelote, filled with EUphoria, jumping through the stadium, hyping up the crowd and then we see G2. One European team against the best Asian teams and a whole continent passionately cheering them on, as they try to overcome those seemingly impossible odds. Goosebumps. Every. Single. Time.
