To people in the comments saying she's unhealthy and that she should just exercise and eat less to lose a few pounds, Barbie and other women like her are an inspiration to little girls. I have never been thin nor will I ever be thin. I exercise on a daily basis and eat healthy foods yet I am still stricken with fear at the thought of wearing a bikini at the beach. As an 18 year old girl and being able to see a strong woman proud of who she is and not afraid to show that is truly amazing and inspiring. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean you can undercut the fact that aerie as well as "plus sized" models are doing amazing things for women and all people with body issues

I looked in the mirror last night for the first time in so so long and thought I was beautiful because of this video. I usually see very thin aerie models and it makes me kind of self conscious because there isn't a big variety there... I'm a similar shape to her and I spend a lot of time planning what I eat and working out and getting really upset because I dread when someone sees me naked one day because I don't feel beautiful. Thank you for posting this.

Everyone on this fucking comment section needs to stfu. I've known Barbara since she was like 13 or 14. We were mutually following each other on tumblr way back when before she even got famous. Barbara is one of the kindest and sweetest souls. There is absolutely nothing wrong with how she looks and the fact that she puts herself out there makes her even more attractive. Even though her and I don't really associate with each other anymore, I find all these comments being rude about her body are unnecessary and pathetic.

Without knowing her BMI and lifestyle choices, there is no way of saying whether she is "unhealthy." If you smoke cigarettes/live in a polluted city/carry around baggage in your soul and feel angry to the extent that you comment evil things about a teenage girl on youtube - you're probably unhealthy too.
