And always make it in muslin or an old sheet to check the fitting before you cut your good fabric.

I like to buy a bolt of pattern easy is what I think it’s called. It’s a thin somewhat stiff yet very flexible fabric that is white but can see a pattern under it. I trace my patterns onto this so I don’t have to cut the original pattern at all. Then I can tuck away the original for good keeping. The pattern easy is wonderful! It’s easy to mark in it with pen, pencil, markers, etc. I can make all kinds of adjustments to the pattern as you have demonstrated. And it folds up nice and neat and it doesn’t tear easy at all, unlike pattern paper or regular paper too.

Hi Sherrill, Sewed clothes many, many moons ago. I’ve been wanting a new blouse, something that’s not a tee shirt😉. With your clear instructions I’m going to make this blouse! Thank you for ALL the time and talent you share w/us. Hi to Manny and Scotty. Sincerely Mary 🍀

Cute blouse. You should model it for us. 😊

This would be a good time to use a French curve, especially on the neckline.

Omg. Good information. Lots of things I never thought about. Hopefully I'll remember these ideas as I want to make my own blouses now as I can't seem to find ones I really like or that fit well. Thank you!

I wish you had modeled the blouse. Also not thrilled with the prairie style tops in stores with winged or puffed sleeves.
