People in this section are extremely critical of Sonos. I own the Ultimate immersive set and am pleased with it. My main goal was wireless and sleekness. I'm sure there are better performance options for the money, but I didn't find any as aesthetically pleasing, wireless(rears), and easy to set up.

Got into the Sonos system for Home theater experience. It's solid, but it's clear they're a music first company.

I guess the negative comments here are from folks who don’t use Sonos. The recent Sonos sale was a good opportunity to acquire flagship products for very competitive prices.
Ty has reviewed Sonos for more than a decade, so read up, trolls. He’s not a Sonos shill.

DO NOT BUY- Good sound quality but difficult set up and connectivity issues. Wort thing is that after a couple of months the speakers will not connect to the app and you have to use the app to listen to any music. Just trashed over $1k in speakers and customer service did not respond for months after the 5 speakers I had bought had been in the landfill. Buy anything else that connects directly with Bluetooth.

Tried a demo set of Era 100 at an upscale dept store in SG and the sound is really unimpressive. Bass is almost non-existent like their Play 1s. So its totally not applicable in a TV/movie setup. For music, any genre tats bass dependent like dance, hip hop or electronic, even pop will sound lackluster. Plus at S$429 its way too overpriced to its competitors. I'm going to stick to my HK Omni 10 tat sound way better and looks great too. Additionally, the reviews from other Youtubers of the sound latency and inconsistent performance is a big no-no.

Too much money for products that Sonos will stop supporting and may even brick in the future

Ray shouldn’t be number one, doesn’t even support HDMI arc

CNET is basically a giant commercial nowadays. Zero of these are good for home use.

Remember when the best speakers you could buy were something the size of a coke can is better.
