How Powerful Is Malaysian Military?

Today we will talk about how powerful is Malaysian Military. Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia. Consists of thirteen states and three federal territories separated by the South China Sea into two regions Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia shares a land and maritime border with Thailand and maritime borders with Singapore Vietnam and Indonesia. East Malaysia shares land and maritime borders with Brunei and Indonesia and a maritime border with the Philippines and Vietnam. With US$415 billion of nominal GDP Malaysia shares a 3000 km land border and has 2742 km of coastline. The country is protected by the Malaysian Armed Forces.

Malaysian Armed Forces have three special force units:

1. Grup Gerak Khas (GGK)
(“21st Special Service Group”)

2. Pasukan Khas TUDM (PASKAU )
(“RMAF Special Force”)

3. Pasukan Khas Laut (PASKAL)
(“Naval Special Warfare Forces”)
